Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

At Jozour Academy we respect your privacy and your children’s privacy, and we collect only the minimum data needed to provide lessons. This page explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and your rights.

Who we are

Jozour Academy is an online academy offering one-to-one lessons in Arabic, the Holy Quran and Islamic manners for children of Arab and Muslim families in Europe. For anything related to your data, contact: [email protected] or WhatsApp +44 7570 163115.

What data do we collect?

Why do we use it?

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Children’s data

We handle children’s data with special care. We collect it only with a parent’s consent, and we never use a child’s image, voice or name in any published content without the parent’s explicit written permission. Teachers do not contact children outside lessons and the academy’s official channels.

Lessons and recording

Lessons are held live on Zoom. We only record lessons if you request the recording add-on, and the recording is then used only for you to review the lesson with your child.

Services we use

We rely on trusted services to deliver lessons and stay in touch: WhatsApp (Meta) for communication, Zoom for lessons, Google for records, and Stripe and PayPal for payments. Some data may be processed outside the EU, including by our teaching team in Egypt, Syria and Palestine, and we take care to protect it.

Cookies

This site currently uses no tracking or advertising cookies. If we add them in the future, they will only run after you consent.

How long we keep data

We keep your data for as long as you are subscribed, then for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data and your child’s data, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. Write to us at [email protected] and we will reply as soon as possible. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
