By booking a trial lesson or subscribing to one of Jozour Academy’s plans, you agree to the following terms.
Trial lesson
The first trial lesson is free and lasts 40 minutes, with no payment required beforehand. The teacher gets to know your child and their level, then we suggest a starting plan with you.
Subscription and plans
- The subscription is monthly, and you choose the plan that suits you, with no recommendation from us.
- You can change plan or pause your subscription in any month.
- Siblings get 15% off for each child.
- We may change prices in the future, and we will tell you before the new month begins.
Payment
Payment is made only after the trial lesson, by card (Stripe), PayPal or bank transfer (IBAN). The payment link or transfer details are sent to you on WhatsApp.
Cancellations and make-up lessons
- If you tell us your child can’t attend at least one hour before the lesson, we will make it up at another time.
- A missed lesson without notice, or a cancellation less than one hour before, counts towards your plan.
- If the teacher cancels or there is a technical problem on our side, we make up the lesson at no cost to your plan.
Your teacher
You choose a male or female teacher before the trial lesson, and you can ask to change teacher at any time.
Lessons and reports
Lessons are one-to-one and live on Zoom with the camera on. You receive a report on WhatsApp after every lesson, plus a monthly report. Your child needs a device with a camera, microphone and a good internet connection. We prefer a parent to be nearby during the lesson, especially for young children.
Lesson recording
Lesson recording is a paid add-on, available on request, so your child can review the lesson at home.
Jozour Passport
The Jozour Passport is a free encouragement programme included in the subscription, where your child earns stamps and rewards. A child’s name or image is never used in published content without a parent’s permission.
